We all need to take a first step in the right direction. But often it’s hard to know where to begin.
Rooted is a small group conversational environment where people can take that first step and explore faith, experience community and find a spiritual home. The study gives you an overview of the Bible and the grand story of God then helps you find your place in that story.
Being rooted in Christ is the call of every Christian. But what does that mean? Join with us as we journey through a series of growth groups designed to root us in the knowledge and love of Jesus. Rooted groups are designed to help us better understand our faith and answer the big questions of who God is, what is the Kingdom of God, what is our calling, and how we can grow deeper in faith.
These 6 week groups of Rooted 1 (Who is God & Our Faith), Rooted 2 (Understanding God’s Kingdom in Our Life), Rooted 3 (God’s Calling for You), and Rooted 4 (Deep Faith Practices) allow you to grow and take action in your faith and life.
If you really want to take action, get involved and add your gifts and talents to the Valley Vineyard community as we try to make a difference in the world, there is essentially one basic way - be a part of a Rooted group.

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end fo the age.” - The Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-19)
At Valley Vineyard, we want everything we do to be in pursuit of the Great Commission. Vineyard Growth Groups are a key way that we intentionally live out this mission. It is our goal to see everyone at the Vineyard experience authentic community by getting connected in a group and then to be transformed by God and others. We think this life change happens best when you do the following four things: Belong, Grow, Serve, and Go.
That is what groups here at Valley Vineyard are all about. Being a Christian is more than just learning information. It is about taking that information and allowing the Holy Spirit to bring about change. We like to call that transformation. We think one of the great ways that happens is in a Group!

God has created each of us to reflect His glory and heart in a unique way. Nobody can communicate His love and truth to the world like you can. And to fulfill the task He has given Cornerstone, we need each and every person who considers Cornerstone their home to be active on this team.
